Terms & Conditions
By booking a trial or joining a class at Just Dance Dorchester, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and friendly, but they matter, so please give them a read.
Trials
A children's trial costs £15 and lets your child try any of our classes for two weeks. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the first class, we'll refund your £15. If we cancel a class during your trial, we'll offer another date.
Fees
Classes are paid monthly by Direct Debit through GoCardless, from the start of the month. Current prices are on our timetable page. We'll give at least one month's notice of any price change.
Leaving
We need notice of one week in writing (email is fine) to stop your Direct Debit before the 1st of the next month and give up your place. Fees already paid aren't refundable. Direct Debits can be stopped any time your end.
Missed classes
We can't refund classes you miss. Where there's space, you're welcome to catch up in another class of the same level. If we have to cancel a class, we'll offer a catch-up or a refund.
Health and safety
Please tell us about any medical conditions, injuries or allergies, and keep us updated if anything changes. Dancers should wear the right uniform and footwear for their class, tie long hair back and leave jewellery at home.
Dropping off and collecting
Please bring young children into the studio and collect them promptly. Let us know in advance if someone different is collecting. We're responsible for children during their class only.
Behaviour
We want everyone to feel welcome and safe. We expect kindness and respect from dancers and families, and we may ask a dancer to leave a class or the school if behaviour puts others at risk.
Photos and video
We sometimes take photos and video in class and at shows. We only share them publicly with your consent, and you can change your mind at any time. Please don't post videos of other people's children without their parents' permission.
Shows, exams and Performance Crew
These are always optional. Shows may involve a costume or ticket fee, exams have an entry fee set by the exam board, and Performance Crew needs extra rehearsals. We'll always tell you costs before you commit.
Private lessons
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a private lesson, or the full fee is charged.
Changes to classes
Occasionally we need to change times, teachers or venues. We'll tell you as early as we can, and you can leave without notice if a change doesn't work for you.
Our responsibility
Dance is physical, and while we take every care, we can't be responsible for injuries that aren't caused by our negligence, or for belongings lost at the studio. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
